My go to sushi take out is this Sushi Combination Platter and the Brighton Roll. The first time I ordered the combo was through doordash and it was $36- for what's included I thought that was a great price, but then I looked at their website and it was only $28!!! I was shocked. It comes with 13 pieces of nigiri, a tuna roll, a california roll, a miso soup and a salad. This amount of food anywhere else would be no less than $50. Sometimes part of the 13 is Fatty Tuna which is a nice treat. It is such a bang for you buck and that is NEEDED in times like these. I also love the brighton roll- it has salmon, tuna. yellowtail and tobiko- its light and fresh. Highly recommend getting the sushi combination platter.
Service was so good! Food was delicious and not crazy expensive. We loved the poinsettia rolls and the brown sugar boba. Quiet music so you could hear who you sat with, but wasn't dead quiet either. It was country music which honestly was a fun touch for a Japanese place. Really really enjoyed, will definitely be going back. Duck rolls were so good and scallion pancakes has such a good garlicky soy sauce and chicken fried rice came in a HUGEEEE container.
The beef teriyaki was so tender and the poinsettia roll was delicious. Def will order again.
Always fresh sushi never had a bad meal. It is a little pricey, but as long as the food is good, I don't mind paying, we've only dined in once and they were closed for a couple years, only did takeouts but again the food is great.
Minami has been closed for indoor dining for quite some time, however I will always recommend the sushi from this establishment. The fish is always fresh and the service is always quick. I'm looking forward to returning to an in person dining experience.
What can I say that I haven't said. Minami is as good or better than ever. Freshest and tastiest Japanese food you can find. Minami is Massapequa's best kept secret. First, Let me shout out to Wendy for the exceptional service, we look forward to seeing you again. Tonight, My scallop teriyaki box was exceptional, the shrimp tempura a best ever. And the beef Yashi-Yaki was also exceptional as always. It's great to have Minami back as our Go-To for Japanese!!
Excellent delicious food and service. Very pretty decor. The Shrimp Shumai Soup was light and delicious. Nice crisp salad. Chicken teriyaki mixed box had a nice variety of Shumai, California Rolls, Shrimp, Vegetables and rice.
Went there the other night and everything was delicious. This is one of the best sushi restaurants on Long Island. Service was excellent. Ambiance is perfect for a chill night out. Also, kids loved their Bubble Teas. Love this place.
